Man Tries To Wrap Lampost As Present. Paper Not Available. Uses Car Instead

A blue Audi A4 collided with a Volkswagon Passat and careened into a lamp post on Green End Road, near the junction with Kingsway, Manchester.
The four occupants of the Passat fled leaving a man, who was driving the Audi, and his son at the scene - miraculously escaping death. Their car was almost ripped in half.
“We appeal for the occupants of the Volkswagen and any witnesses to contact us.” said police.
Mechanics say the car is drivable, but can only make right turns.
