Brandy Sued For $50 Million. No Longer Sittin’ On Top Of The World

R&B Singer BrandyThe parents of 38-year-old Awatef Aboudihaj, who was killed when Brandys Land Rover struck the back of her Honda, has filed a wrongful-death suit for $50 million against the singer, claiming Brandy was driving recklessly.

The California Highway Patrol recommended Brandy be charged with misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter in the December 30 accident.

Brandy was driving when traffic slowed and her vehicle hit Aboudihaj’s, a CHP report says.

Aboudihaj’s car hit another vehicle, slid sideways into the center divider and was then hit by another car, the report said. Aboudihaj, a Los Angeles waitress, died at a hospital from blunt-force injuries, according to the coroner’s office.
