Highly Sexed Women More Likely To Be Bisexual

Friday, August 11th, 2006

Not quite an excuse to ask the other half for a threesome (or to watch her and her best friend at it - and make a tape), but a survey published in Psychological Science, by Richard A. Lippa, shows that the higher a woman’s sex drive, the more she desires men and women.

The study showed that heterosexual women are 27 times more likely to show attraction to other women than men are to other men.

“It’s the common sense view that heterosexual men with high sex drives are very interested in women, and gay men with high sex drives are super attracted to men […] The unexpected result of this study is that it suggests that women are more intrinsically bisexual. Men tend to be either-or [heterosexual or gay], but women have more shades of gray.” said Lippa.
