Plumbing bungle brings new meaning to “beer on tap”

Haldis Gundersen from Norway didn’t expect to be washing dishes with beer when she turned on her kitchen taps.

Workers at Big Tower Bar, two stories below, has mistakenly plumbed the beer to Gundersen’s apartment. “I turned on the tap to clean some knives and forks, and beer came out,” said Gundersen.

“The water and beer pipes do touch each other, but you have to be really creative to connect them together,” said Per Egil Myrvang from a beer distributor.

Seeing as Norway has some of the highest beer prices in the world, Gundersen could have made a killing during the error. I know I would have!
